Usually during the winter fresh fruit dont seem to appealing to my kiddos. Havent really figured out why but I found the perfect solution. FRUIT SALAD. I usually start out fruit salad with a can of pineapple if I have any. The juice from the can gives the salad some liquid and we like it that way. If I dont have any on hand then I use some other canned fruit like peaches or cocktail. We like pineapple the best though.
Then I peel, core and cube 2-3 apples, 2-3 oranges, 2 bananas and if I have any 2-3 kiwi. Of course other fruit could be added but I usually only have theese. I mix it all up with the juice and put it in the fridge for a while. That way all the flavors blend together. This way the fruit is gone in no time and I know we got our vitamins.
